Peace and love

Hello ,

Slowly I start to have a bit of a passion for coloring pencils and kraft cardstock. They go so nice together. That's what I used for today's card, along with a set of stamps called ''Joyous'' from Whimsy Stamps.

The set I used is a bit older, but Whimsy Stamps has new monthly releases and many other designs for you to check out.
At first , I wanted to make a one layer card, but I messed up the sentiment and I had tot trim the stamped and colored image. Mistakes happen, but is good when mistakes turn into something more beautiful. This is the result...

I use cheap coloring pencils from WHSmith. They do the job really well. The colors are really intense as you can see.

I hope you like today's card and slowly getting ready for Christmas. If you plan to send Christmas cards this year to your love ones, then is better to start early. The post office gets messy and crazy by the end of the year.

Thanks for stopping by!

Merry & Bright

Hello,

I have a drawer where I keep my stamps. A mix beetween the old stamps and new ones. I always like to go through the old ones, even if they are feebies from magazines. As long I like the design of them I will continue using them even after years and years. Today's card is made, using a set of stamps I got for free from a crafty magazine a few years ago. I love the design so much.

This is only stamping. It is quick to make this type of Christmas cards, if you have a MISTI tool from My Sweet Petunia. I like the ombre look effect when I do this type of stamping. MISTI works so well for this, because you have to stamp over a few times and you don't want to mess up.

If you like to make a lot of Christmas cards for your family and friends, then is time to get your own MISTI. Where I live we don't really send away holiday cards, but I still love making them.

Big difference

Hello there ,

I like creating my own background for the cards. I used to like pattern paper a lot for my cards, but now I like to try different looks. Ink blending background can be so easy and nice, also watercolor ones too. But for today I wanted to use the Glimmer Paste from Tonic Studios, to create a night sky. You ca easily do it with ink,but the glitter in this paste is just stunning.

You can use this texture paste with stencils. If you don't have stencils, die cut a nice background, using a die : circle, flowers, anything you have. Make sure to use a nice thick cardstock, because the paste is pretty wet and thick.

I used three different colors to get the look I wanted and they blend so nice together.  I often share sneak peaks of my Insta story  ,if you wish to follow me there for more.

The stamps are from MFT and Altenew and the balloon die from Studio Katia. They go really nice with this background.

I hope you like today's card. Enjoy your day and stay safe!
